Anyone in Wisconsin near Lake Geneva? I'll be there for a family vacation, and debating on riding the bike out there.

That's going to be a crazy weekend at Lake Geneva. Will have to think about it. Wouldn't mind doing the ride, but may be bumper to bumper traffic. :yuck:

You could meet us on i-39, somewhere outside the outer limits of chicago? Not entirely sure how i'm going to do it, if i do it at all. Wife has 1 ipass, but we would need 2 or actually stop for the toll(yuck). You may be right though, the traffic alone may be worth not taking the bike.

Depending on the day you are riding there might be able to attend. Yea traffic will be a bear but depends if you get an early start.

As for the i-pass, just register your bike plate and ride through. You'll just get charged vtolls(virtual tolls) to your account. If you do it too much they complain but otherwise it is fine.

Put the other vehical on the list for the Ipass. Then both go throughand they should not do anything. My granddaughter went through the Ipass lane and her mom called them and they said as long as the car is on the list, was OK. I put her tag on my list of cars.

Eh, i've decided to not ride the bike up there this trip. I have a big enough trip at the end of July, that the bike is going.

Bummer but probably the right decision. The 4th will be nuts around Lake Geneva.

T-minus 31 days or so to MV. Cannot wait. Getting a few last things for the trip and then maybe 1 or 2 small mods before departing.

You might want to retrieve your "man card" from Kelly before leaving.;)

Lake Genva was a bit hectic of a trip. The town was packed wall to wall with people, and it was like that for 5 days :(. The weather was nice enough to see our fair share of bikers, but zero strykers. I'm pretty sure our family will not be going back to that resort/town. It was just too much of a tourist trap. Now just looking forward to Maggie.

Yes, definitely not somewhere you want to be during the holiday weekend. Weekends are bad enough.
