i have a brand new stryker with 2 years warranty would i have problems with my dealer if i wore to drill out my baffels?? and shuld i wait untill i break in the engine?

Nope shouldn't have any issues. the only warranty it will void is the one covering the exhaust. but other than that you should be fine with the rest of the bike

You will be happy with the drilled baffles for a while and ay never change them if you like the way the stockers look. ;D

You just have to do it right. I did 8 small holes and heted it. Next day i did 8 1/2 in holes and loved it. since, ive added 8 more small holes on top of the big ones and it is perfect.

The stock sound is crap....drilling the baffles sounds much better, and it's free........something that has to be done immediately......at least until your ready to fork over $$$$.....

I'll likely go with the Vance & Hines Big Radius.....but I kind of like the stock pipes still.....

Then just the other day I decided to open all 8 up to 9/16" and added 2 more at the top and it sounds awesome and actually sounds a little smoother. I love the sound out of it. Should hold me over nicely until I can get my V&H slash cuts.

I'm sure it's awesome, but pls describe...any deeper in tone?
I love the volume level since drilling the standard 8 half inchers, but I'm curious if more holes will change the tone.

Its just slightly deeper, but it is a lot less 'tingy' (as SCHIMBO said). It also seems to pop less. What is this airbox mod you speak of??? And is it something I can do without having to add a programmer (want to get my V&H pipes first).

I cut out most of the back side of my air box and I do not have a programmer. I havent had any probles. Just search the forum for air box mod
