Yamaha has sent me a letter saying not to start my V Star and bring it in for immediate repairs. Because of a gas leak in the fuel injection system that can causes fire. They include models from the year 2007 V Star 1300 and 2009 V Star 950 to 2011 and some 2012 models. Has any one else got this letter that own a Star motorcycle.

Just got the letter. Yamaha will send letters to owners of the models with the defective parts and you might try a search of the internet. Seems to be just certain V Stars. Here is how the list reads.

(All 2009-2011 and certain 2012 XVS95("V Star 950") and XVS95CT ("V Star 950 Tourer")as well as all 2007 XVS13 )"V Star 1300") andXVS13CT ("V Star 1300 Tourer") model motorcycles.
