Hello all. Have been lurking awhile for information on the Stryker. I have had a ZX14 for 6 yrs now and have been wanting a cruiser for a couple of years now.
A good friend has a Raider and I was impressed with the handling and torque. As I am 57 and am trying to get away from big power and chill out.
As a ex-racer I cant do the mature thing and slow down on my hyperbike.
I have done the 200 mph thing, canyon racing, lots of track days and toured the 14.
Landed in the hospital from a track day (bye bye zx6-r) and have had to keep a lawyer on retainer!
Time for a change.
Thought about a sporttourer (would just stay a habitual speeder)
a adventure bike (now I would be crashing a 500 lb dirt bike)
but after riding a couple new Triumph cruisers and then the Raider I got hooked on the comfortable cruising thing.
Will be test riding a Stryker soon to see if it rides as nice as the Raider.
Like everything I have read on the Stryker.

Welcome from Michigan.

I don't have any experience with sport bikes, but like everything about the Stryker so far. Easy to ride, comfortable, has plenty of power, and looks great to boot. I only wish it would quit snowing so I could ride it.

If you like the Raider, I think you will like the Stryker more. IMO

I also have a friend with a Raider and I have rode both and I like my Stryker better.

Good luck on your decision and welcome to the forum.

I too come from a sport bike background....as do many folks here. I LOVE the Stryker. I have so much more fun on it than i ever did on sport bikes...i don't have to do stupid crazy stuff on this thing to enjoy it...can't say the same about the uncomfortable sport bikes...they're only fun when you're going really fast.
